I love the title, and the picure! Simple, everyday thing beautifully interpreted. Until recently, I used to work in science. A researcher friend said to me that these things cause mouse cells to 'sing like a canary'. My field, pollution, sees them more as electrostatic precipitators, where charged pollutants are concentrated to power lines.

I digress...
