I am fortunate to have a good friend who is a great pastry chef, especially one who specializes in wedding cakes. We get wonderful cakes for our birthdays. These were for my daughter's 8th birthday. That's cream cheese frosting, by the way.

This rocket used to be the play structure at Todd Grove Park. I don't know when they closed it off, probably 15 years ago, but at least they left it standing. If anyone was a kid in the 70's and 80's in Ukiah, you probably played in this rocket. There used to be a slide on the opposite side, but that was taken off when they closed it up. I guess it was unsafe. There is a new play area to the left of the rocket (you can see the end of the swings) with a fabulous multilevel structure and a bunch of slides. My kids loved it. And at least they could imagine where used to play. You can see the new structure in the swings shot.

Looking south from the geotag. This is a dairy farm in the hills east of Petaluma. I actually had to wait for cows to get out of the road after I took the picture.

A kite, clouds, sky. It was a great day to fly a kite. The clouds changed constantaly, pretty cool.
