Midnight Train to Georgia Tainan City i decided at the last minute to be cheesy and attend the new year's eve countdown in Taina n City. i missed the 10:42 train, so i had to settle for the 11:23 one-- and then i would arrive at the city around 11:50, my friend would pick me up, just in time to see the countdown at the city hall (less than ten minutes away, so we should get there just before midnight). but then! the damn train arrived late!!!! so it arrived at 11:46!!! stupid train!!! arghhh.. so i boarded at 11:46 and got to the city after midnight already when the countdown and fireworks were over. i was able to take some pictures of the crowds, the night market stalls, and the deadbeat singer (they probably saved the worst for last, when everyone's leaving the concert area) singing just when everyone's leaving. but no fireworks. arghhh..
