I think areas like portals present great scope for experimentation and rather than just as a tool to take us from A to B should be an experience in themselves. During the Spring when Zooomr was down TH talked about his vision of digital galleries in cities around the world. I imagine a room people can enter and depending on their position their movements the images will change.
