Segunda mitad del siglo XI, bajo el reinado de Fernando I. Existen en el monumento elementos visigóticos reutilizados. En la primera mitad del siglo XII son pintados los muros y el ábside. Estas pinturas románicas están calificadas de alta relevancia.
