It looks a lot better on flickr for some reason, but both are still incredibly grainy. My colors didn't turn out that well either. I'm definitely going to go back there some time and spend longer shooting this view. better on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/emmacherry/1896305940/

Zooomr appears to apply sharpening to the smaller resized images. (hence the extra grain in the sky)

Flickr does not (or not that I can see)

Nice shot regardless of grain :)

I found it hard to process the shots taken from up there too, in some cases i just converted it to black and white cause i hated the colors. It was a hard shot to edit and you did well. Nice shot.

It's a good shot. Anything at 1600 is going to be tough to process. You did well.

If you're interested in grain reduction, I know some tricks that might help for this one. They're a little long to write out, but if someone is interested, drop me a line. It even helps at 1600 iso.
