PayPal Scam
This is to show you how easy is it. I just got a phone call from my mom about 3 hours ago, she asked me which credit card to register to PayPal, and I asked why she was adding a credit card. She said that she received a email from PayPal telling her to login and enter a payment method to keep her account open, I instantly new this was suspicious. I logged in the my parents Gmail account, and noticed the email wasn't from PayPal, the URL wasn't PayPal, nothing was from PayPal. She already logged in the poorly mocked PayPal site. So in the end her money and identity is intact, but we had to change our eBay, PayPal, and Gmail passwords since they are the same. So this is a public announcement. Watch out! The scammer could possible get your email from purchasing a product from you on eBay or a PayPal transaction.

Get her Firefox w/ phishing protection, it's usually fairly good at warning about phishing sites. On the other hand, Gmail usually is too, so that one may have gotten through.

I'd submit the URL on www.phishtank.com to report it.

Thanks for the public announcement though, things like this can't be repeated enough!

That what I was concerned about. I have my whole family on Firefox. And my parents on FF3 Beta 5, maybe that's why it didn't warn her.

Just to be on the safe side, you should probably warn her to ignore the hot stock tips too.
