'Knock you over' strength winds on the cliff tops here, luckily coming off the ocean so it wasn't going to knock me off the edge of the cliffs!

As far as I know, this is the southernmost beach in Australia. As you can see, it can be pretty inhospitable and there is usually a huge surf coming in from the Southern Ocean. I've been here when the weather was fine, but on this day it was gale force winds and horizontal rain, so I was only risking using the compact camera, and then only side on sheltered by my hand since the wind was coming directly north off the ocean. There were a few surfers hiding in the bushes back from the cliffs, I don't think they had braved the ocean on this day though.
