This is a new building in my neighborhood that is designed to be shared by loft owners and retail lessees. It is still looking to open the retail section on the first floor. So far, no tennants have opened for business. The lofts have sold although I can't say for certain how many are still vacant.

This horse and several others are tethered to turn of the century horse tie-rings that dot the sidewalks around Portland, Oregon. These particular models can be found at SE 42nd St & Belmont Ave.
Lately, I've seen these horses pop up around town. They are always zip-tied to these old horse rings. In this case the sidewalk is only 3-4 months old yet the city or perhaps the private contractor has seen fit to embed them in new concrete. It seems that now they tie us to the past.
