I've been trying out a software called Portrait Professional for the sake of hoping to save hours of manual work in Photoshop. Because of the studio shots we will do in good old 40's Hollywood style, those portraits will pass through Photoshop in any case, but the less time it takes to edit them, the better.
There's a Before & After version of this photo over here. Makeup was also added in Photoshop btw.
Portrait Professional works great. At least for use on the screen. But I haven't had a chance to see the result of a print yet. If it works well for print as well, I might use it.
The photo above was enhanced with PP and normally I have like 2 billion freckles and 300,000 wrinkles....so it does a great job. Lips have to be corrected in Photoshop though since PP for some silly reason ignores them.
