What better way to begin a series about summer than a sunrise surfing photo?

These clouds are byproducts of space shuttle Atlantis's solid rocket boosters. Lit up by the setting sun they look beautiful, but are a toxic mix of ammonium perchlorate (oxidizer, 69.6 percent by weight), aluminum (fuel, 16 percent), iron oxide (a catalyst, 0.4 percent), a polymer (a binder that holds the mixture together, 12.04 percent), and an epoxy curing agent (1.96 percent).

These are photos taken for Steven of his GSXR and Porsche. This is the first shoot where I have handled the photos exclusively in Adobe Lightroom. Greg was nice enough to get me a copy of it earlier this week and so far I have been very impressed with it. The interface is much more streamlined than Photoshop and it is definitely more geared towards photographers.
