Today was checkride day (July 11) for my first solo student John Wypych. I was surprised to find that I seemed to be more nervous than he was. After the paperwork was filled out and I was making my exit to let them proceed with the ride, the designated examiner said to me "this guy is going to be way over prepared, isn't he?" I replied to him "that's the idea". It is a value that my primary instructor passed on to me, and one that I am happy to share. I am glad to report that all went well and he is now a Private Pilot!
