Left propeller is feathered - a testament to the great quality of aircraft and instructors at All ATP. The instructor took off with a student and immediately noticed that both load meters were spiking. Knowing that there was a problem with the alternators, the instructor decided to continue the training flight. He then proceeded to intentionally fail an engine out in the practice area. When the student tried to restart they found that the battery did not have enough juice to turn the prop. This particular instructor left the next day to go work for American Eagle Airlines! Scary...
