Partial view of the back wall inside one of the (reconstructed) buildings the soldiers used while camping at Valley Forge during the American Revolutionary War. It also shows part of 2 sleeping pallet areas - two others are directly across on each side of the doorway; so each building could sleep up to 12 men.

Berlin Diner's Neon Glow |
Church along White Horse Pike. Liked the red doors, against the white wood siding, unfortunately the banner, apparently up year-round, obscures part of that feature for others to more easily enjoy viewing. Carol Wells has more Photographs of Places you may enjoy viewing.

Men playing chess along South Broadway, down the street from the Terminal, is a common sight in Camden's downtown area. This area usually has 3 or 4 tables set up and waiting for chess players to enjoy and socialize. These gentlemen are prepared for a long game (if the small supply of snacks on the table is any indication of their willingness to stay for a while). Carol Wells has more Photographs of People doing everyday-type activities.

Berlin Diner's exterior shares a nostalgic, albeit a slight patriotic, appearance, with its metal siding and touches of neon. New Jersey is somewhat known for the wide selection of diners within the state with most offering a similar menu but don't let that fool you as each one is different and an enjoyable respite from the chain eatery places! This is not the original Berlin Diner. That diner, formerly located on the same corner in the Borough of Berlin NJ, was damaged in a fire in 1999 and the family decided to replace the older 1950's diner with a new pre-fab one. Carol Wells has shared more trivia along with another photograph of Berlin Diner located along White Horse Pike within Camden County and one with its neon at night. She also has other Photographs of Places you may enjoy viewing.
