Diane, but some people call her "parking lot Mary" since that is generally where she can be found, is one of the many homeless people in Camden County area. She wears all the clothes she owns year-round, regardless of how warm it may be outside, and claims to be in her early 60s. Diane allowed Carol Wells to take her photograph at a fast food restaurant along Haddon Avenue. The soft focus is intentional. Carol has more Photographs of People doing everyday-type activities you may enjoy viewing.

This area usually has 3 or 4 tables set up and waiting for chess players to enjoy and socialize. These gentlemen are prepared for a long game (if the small supply of snacks on the table is any indication of their willingness to stay for a while). Mural on side of a Camden County Administration Building. The mural depicts part of Camden New Jersey's economic past - shipping, railroads, and the RCA and Campbells' factories. The RCA factory workers' line is featured on the left with the Campbells employees, sorting tomatoes, on the right. This town's once robust economic status started to decline in the 1950's to 1960's time period and has not (yet) managed to "spring back". Carol Wells has another photograph of this mural on a Camden County Administration Building plus other Photographs of Places that you may enjoy looking at.

Mural on side of a Camden County Administration Building. The mural depicts part of Camden New Jersey's once robust economic past - shipping, railroads, and the RCA and Campbell's factories. The former RCA building, or factory, was converted into apartments with ground level shopping in 2006 and the Campbells' food company still operates in the city. This angle shares a portion of the city hall building and its clock tower.
