The color in this photo actually came from the photo itself. The unprocessed photo looked plain silver, but I was able to pull out a great deal of color in Photoshop. To see how I processed this photo, visit the Epic Edits Weblog.

I'm glad you explained that about the colors, and that it wasn't just a cheap gradient. What PS Adjustment did you use to bring out the spectrum?

It was actually a series of adjustments using ACR for multiple conversions, LAB color space adjustments, and layer blends. I'll be explaining on my blog later tonight and I'll post the link to the article in the picture description.
