Lyndon Johnson is buried in his family cemetery at the site of his ranch in Stonewall, Texas. His is currently the only presidential gravesite that is technically inaccessible to the public. His wife, Lady Bird Johnson, just passed away this summer, and while she was alive, at her request, the cemetery was closed to the public. Visitors could see the gravesite from a distance but not approach it. I read somewhere that visitors would be able to get closer once Lady Bird had passed, but I have not heard if that is the case yet or not.
