Doesn't surprise me. There's an exotic, remote, otherworldly feel to it, and the path, being the most defined by light, invites the imaginative journey.
I must admit I had the same fairy tale impression when I reviewed the raws. Still, it's curious that a shot with no obvious reference to fairy tales gives many people the same impression. That's one of those things I love about photography :)
Did I mention how much I LOVE this shot! WOW! I just saw it again in discover! And I just had to come back and tell you how wonderful it is... the composition and colors are PERFECT!
