Glad you like it. It's post processed in CS3. I shoot raw so I do at least a minimal amount of post processing on all shots. If I remember correctly in this one I increased contrast a bit, used selective color to make the shadows a bit more blue and I used Shadow/Highlight to bring out more of the grainy quality of the concrete and tiles.

thought that you might like some feed back, i think its "fault" in yvb is that it doesn't closely fit the 'street life' catagory. for that i would have moved the person forgroundwards. Cool, yes yvb not so much. i posted this here so as not to influence other voters.

Aside from that I have given my opinion on the subject of group categories before: As long as a picture fits more or less in a category it should be allowed to enter. I know you have a quite inflexible attitude with regards to what can and can't be entered. Of course you're entitled to your opinion but I happen to disagree with that view.

i am just saying the reason that i think it is doing poorly in that catagory. as my name is not on ANY of the threads, i can NOT say that a photo can't be posted to anywhere! besides, i think it is cool.

Well no one except you has commented on it not fitting the category. I get your point but I don't think it's valid. Anyway, it doesn't really matter to me. It's nice to win but more interesting to get feedback and see who votes what.
