Sorry for the gore today, but my finger made me think about that. It looked less real than the movies.

9th day So yesterday when I came around the corner, a squirrel impetuously ran in from of me at the last moment. I accidentally tired to miss him. I thought of you right away. Synergy is not always what I think it should be. But then again, if it was, fewer amazing things would happen in my life.

7th Day Yep, it is that cold. On another note, I know that is not where they normally are, but the pic was boring without them there. One day they will be real ones when I make more than a middle-school paperboy. Maybe from Pikes Place. It would have to be a sweet deal though, to live there that is. You know how well the Favored Institution and I get along.

6th Day Inspired by the office story I was telling you. Mark walked by me in the office today and eyed me up and down in surprise, I guess. I think he thought the 'bonus' did a lot. I felt like telling him it was just too cold there for me, in more ways than one. I didn't though. Probably a good thing. Sorry this is later than usual. Coe and I solved the world's existential problems.

5th day Twice now I have had coffee too late. More than twice I have gone to bed too late, but only twice did I go to bed at a decent time unable to fall asleep. Live and learn. I am sure it will happen again.

Day 34 Is it just me or is everything/everyone more activist this year than usual? I think the words 'At the least' are missing from this. I know the picture and the 'comment' are cheap and banal, but it is a good reflection of my life oftentimes without you around. Hey, sometimes it is the cheese that makes it good...
