The marina at Bardolino to the left, and the many restaurants and town center to the right. Strolling along here at dusk is a calming and relaxing experience. The star effect generated using a Hoya Star Six filter.

The Cremona Duomo is fascinating because, unlike a lot of other old churches around the world it has not been renovated to a point of sterility. Instead it has worn marble floor tiles and columns, cracked ceilings and tourists are free to roam anywhere. Picture from Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. The light was shining in from one of the windows directly onto the crowd below - I couldn't turn the shot down. I've got a number of these shots at varying exposures but this is the only one with such a distinct highlight of the people below. This photo was taken at ISO 1600. (For some reason Zooomr doesn't show ISO in it's EXIF information...)

This was another play with exposure. Due to the extreme brightness I really over exposed the photograph to bring out the flowers in the foreground. With a washed out sky as a side-effect it becomes a very nice image.
