Black Fry's Day |
The (almost) last leaf standing |

Midnight is our Geek Kitty. If we're doing anything with computers or electronics, she has to be in on the action. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that she reads the Fry's ad.

Where I live, fall seems to last about two weeks. The trees seem to release their leaves suddenly, sort of like the Whomping Willow in the Harry Potter films. A burst of wind, a shudder of the branches, and trees go bare.

This is the flag that flies at my local Post Office. No checks in the mail (darn), but a nice photo opportunity. Taken with my cellphone.

This was taken at the Fern Dell at the Dallas Arboretum. They run misters often to keep the ferns moist. There's a creek that runs under this bridge, but darned if I could see it!
