Day 16 of the December Challenge. I set out to create a Bokeh in the background that looked like a star but didn't follow the PhotoJojo DIY - Create your own Bokeh instructions so well. But what I did get was a nice photo of my father and Eva. Eva's Grandfather was a good sport as I took photo after photo of them in front of my parent's Christmas tree. More at The Benspark

This is my sister Shelby and my daughter Eva. Shelby is Eva's Godmother. And Shelby held Eva most of Christmas Day with a few breaks so someone else could hold her. They have a special bond together and that is so wonderful. Spent Christmas with the family and not online so this was posted a day late but was taken yesterday. Day 25 of the December Challenge. Day 5 of the December Challenge. This is Drew, he is a crazy man. Instead of doing something artistic and interesting for the portrait I got this. The wacky off the wall antics of Drew as some deranged evil elf scaring people behind a revolving Christmas tree in some bar/restaurant/pool hall in Grundy, VA. Spend your whole day traveling from airport to airport and then driving 2 hours to the site and well, a little levity is what is needed. More at The BenSpark

I shot a bunch of photos of Eva tonight and she was very very alert and the blue of her eyes was amazing. I wanted to emphasize that even more so I selected both her eyes and then selected the inverse and desaturated the image so her eyes would pop even more.
