I'm not sure who the people were gathering together by the Thames outside Tate Modern,but I liked the costumes and admire people willing to dress up like this. Lots of kids seemed to like them too.

This small figure of a woman seemed to emphasize the scale of the spider like creature above, which could have come from some science fiction tale.

Installation in the Turbine hall at Tate Modern until mid April. The artist Dominique Gonzalez,-Foerster sees this as a vision of London in 50 years time, when we will be seeking shelter from the continuous rain.

There are two sections to the sculpture and the light emphasized the geometric planes. The office building behind added rectangles to the pyramid shapes.

A large piece of public sculpture that I seem to have missed before in my walks around St Pauls. It was the shadows cast by the sun that interested me in it's forms.

Walking to Tate modern via St Pauls and Paternoster Square, the sun was shining and the gold on the column was bright against the blue sky.

After all the cold weather, there are the first signs of spring. In a local park there wasn't a lot of flowers on show, but this little blossom stood out among the bare branches.

These 3 males with lovely green plumage on their heads were swimming after the only female duck on the pond. She seemed less than impressed!
