Spirit of Iceland |
by fotonix |
The Myvatn area of Iceland is like much of the rest of the country - stunningly beautiful and tranquil. The only problem around Myvatn (this is a smaller lake near to the lake of Myvatn), is that the 'My' bit in the name means 'midge'. And there are lots of them. Millions, in fact. The whole ecology is run on midge meals, but at least they don't bite. Ever been to Iceland? If not, book a trip now!

Is this shot on film and scanned? There's something about the B&W tones that doesn't quite look digital to me. A stunning image regardless of how it was captured.
