One of the layouts that I saw at Trainfest this year was the finescale model work of Midwest ModUTrak. They're modeling the Milwaukee Road's mainline across Wisconsin in N scale and doing a fabulous job of it. They're just as good at modeling the cars that come in on interchange as they are at recreating the scenes.
