Somewhere in the Capitol. The tour was ok, but you really don't get to see much. The movie they force you to watch is a third grade civics lesson.

A dome in the former House chamber. Now it contains statues. The statues are all of white men.

We absorbed the blossoms from down by the Bureau of Engraving, near the Tidal Basin. This is just south of the Washington Monument.

There are over 3,000 cherry trees. Supposedly, peak was 2 days before when we were there, but there wasn't a bare cherry branch in sight.

There were a ton of people around. It was very windy, but cool and sunny. Just a gorgeous day.

There are trees all around the Tidal Basin. We didn't go all the way to the Basin.

This is always a most pleasant garden. It is usually fairly empty and quiet, too. Not today.
