1/8000 shutter speed. Teeny tiny aperature, and shot with AF on because I'd have gone blind trying to look and get this. I watched for when the lens looked like it had focused on something close, and then SNAP. Four tries later, voila.

I took this while I was still in high school, but the colors are just as vibrant now as they were then. Not on the leaf, in fact, I think I threw it out, but the shot I liked. Editing: Cropping, depth enhancement (trickery), slight grain reduction, color tweaking, and contrast improvement.
