Last 4th of July some college kids were playing with firecrackers and lit up the hillside. See the charring?

Setting the little peices up was impossible. They kept shifting or falling, and getting them spaced correctly was great fun, too. This was for an assignment in a photo class I took. Editing: (minimal changes)

Light sleepers are hard to sneak up on. The zoom lens and doubler helped, though. That cat has ears like no other. Editing changes were mostly color tweaking, but also contrast fixes.

This little shopping area was awfully quiet, until someone walked past me and asked what kind of camera I had. Then, while still walking, he told me something about photographing a comet.. and after that, he announced (to himself?) that he really needed to get home. Editing includes camera shake reduction (handheld), grain reduction, color tweaking, contrast improvement, and my very own soft focus effect.
