Many people say the golden hour is the best time for shooting; for me its twilight; and by twilight I mean any of the three twilghts; but preferably Nautical Twilight while there's more colour in the sky. You can read about the three on Wikipedia - Best Viewed Bigger

I do like the feel a tilt shift brings to everyday photos; along with that milisecond or two of adrenalin when you spot a photo that you love within an instant. I hope you do too. - Best Viewed Bigger

So I thought I'd try the opposite of the miniature look - and make the world look like I'm the size of an ant - I think it works! - Best Viewed Bigger

I've been playing with tilt-shift over the weekend; I'll be posting more over the next few weeks. don't think this is quite the miniature look; but I like the focal plane along the centre of the Thames. - Best Viewed Bigger

Last Saturday after a walk through Hyde Park and dinner with my wife I walked from Covent Garden up to Holborn and spotted an interesting new office; I have more shots of funky windows poking out here and there but I just loved the warm glow on the cold day - Best Viewed Bigger

Ed Terakopian waxing lyrical about Think Tank bags on the Snapperstuff stand in Canon Pro Solutions today. Doesn't he have an infectious smile?! According to the squirrel in this photo (which is very red for what I think is a grey) no one can see him and he blends in to the background completely. Which is why he sat there motionless, hehe! - Best Viewed Bigger

A commuter heads for the Thames Clipper ferry at Westferry, in Docklands. Thames Clipper are a fleet of boats that ferry people up and down the Thames as an alternative to the tube. They get very busy if the tube isn't working! - Best Viewed Bigger
