mr. nige uploaded a photo: 3 Comments | 9 FavesThis news is a little old now, but a few weeks ago some teams from moblog.co.uk entered the Shoot London competition run by the rather excellent people at www.shootexperience.com.
Essentially, the competition was a photographic treasure hunt, with a series of clues of which the answers were famous London landmarks. A few of us had participated in last years competition and had such a great time that more of us came to this years event (over 20 of us!).
To cut a long story short, it was a great day spent amongst some fantastic people, and I was fortunate enough to be part of the team that won the overall best photo of the day prize. We were rather chuffed.
The photo is straight from the camera with no post processing (as there was no post allowed on the day). It was our second to last shot, we were running thin on time, and very thin on ideas in a very wet & uninspiring location: Gabriels Wharf . This was what we came up with. It was a very awkward angle, and the only way to make the shot look right was to turn the camera upside down, hence the strange feel.
It was a great day, and we will be back next year. Hope to see some other Zooomr folk there too.
