A follower of Jesus Christ, William has been privileged to work in both the public and private sectors over the last 30 years, having worn many "hats" in the process. An accomplished corporate speaker, real estate project manager, writer, amateur radio operator and long distance hiker has given Mr. Bateman an awful lot of material to use in speaking engagements.

Successfully navigating the oft-times stormy seas of fathering a large blended family of eighteen (18); William now speaks to men's groups, youth rallies and church fellowships about the issues most pressing in raising a Godly family in a morally deteriorating world and being a man of God in a godless world.

Finally, William is also a national advocate of fatherhood and has recently completed more than 2,000 miles of hiking along the famed Appalachian Trail on behalf of fathers and their continuing influence in their marriages, families, fellowships, communities and nation.
