I really like taking photos more for getting the moment... not necessarily for the bright colours, extreme contrast or pretty effects. (that's not me, I think).

Also, to remember what is happening, to catch what not everyone will be able to see.

I'm not a fan of editing unless I managed to mess up the camera settings to make the pictures super dark or when there's not enough light to begin with.

I want to take pictures that people can see a few years from now and smile at, over, and with. I don't want to have a picture that someone or myself can get tired looking at.
