Bio

Howdy.

I don't have a fancy camera (I'm almost comfortable admitting that).
I typically only use Picasa for post processing. (and I'm almost comfortable admitting that too)

I tend to shoot to create desktop wallpaper and show where I've been to family and friends.
Typical subject matter are fauna, flora, rocks, sticks, twigs, fungi, slow moving critters.

I oversaturate. I bump up the shadows too much. I only use the simple sharpen rather than unsharp-mask.
I like 16x9 ratio (but would like an easy way to print it).
I really don't know much about hardware (camera bodies, lenses, and whatnot).

I have a hard time deciding my favorites.
I tend to upload more than five shots at a time, which I've heard is bad form, sorry.
I rarely ever Title my photos.

I'm probably friendlier than these statements (might) imply.

alancalvertProIs SergioG's promotion of some sort of "photography forums" in bad form? He's posted to a couple of my most awesome photos in last few minutes. 1 year, 8 months ago [Web]

alancalvertProHmm... now that I have a few contacts, I'll have to be more selective about what images I post, rather than just dump the contents of my flashcard :-) 1 year, 8 months ago [Web]
