I have to endorse what eiriandiffaith says concerning MkII: on the page which showed users with the most photos there was one user whose pics could be seen as thumbnails although they were obviously marked as private as clicking them led to nowhere. And those thumbnails showed mainly asian girls in various states of undress.

If you add a further message to a thread, after saving, the screen shows only the first message of the thread. So you can't check what you wrote.
Finding groups is a problem. It is important to make it easy to browse the groups as soon as possible, even if it is just a separate as a long page somewhere. There is the page thread where people list their groups - but this relies on people noticing it & manually adding a message to this page.

Just tried uploading for the first time in about a month. My IPTC Headline and Caption fields don't seem to work any more. Tags are being read ok though.

Dave E, I've had problems with my IPTC title and descriptions not getting picked up from the start. I'm using Adobe Lightroom. I've been in touch with both Kris and Tom about this, and hope that the issue will get resolved soon.

BTW, I'm having the same problem that Toga experienced. I tried numerous times to create a SmartSet based on each of 1) upload date, and 2) tags, and it always comes up with no matches.

I've encountered this, and at other times also been redirected to the thread but it's been cached so I can't see my reply (Opera 9.21).

Andy, I agree and think there needs to be one offical Zooomr thread that has a list of all known bugs and is updated when fixed. Posting bugs to a endless list like this doesn't help anyone because it's too hard to read and you don't know when it has been fixed. Users could still report bugs to this thread but someone from the Zooomr team could add it to the Offical Bug List thread (that's read-only) and direct everyone to read that list first before posting a new bug.

BTW, SmartSets are currently disabled and are "expected" back next week.

Try renaming them on the "You" page. Right now I had the same problem on the photo detail page but it worked properly on the page with thumbnails.

This is a known bug that Kristopher is working on.

Titles with no letters (eg. blank or only numbers) can not be edited at this point. This is a known bug. If you upload photos with letters in the title you will be able to edit those titles.

In order to edit a description you must first click on the headline title and save this and then you will be given an opportunity to enter a description (something you obviously can't do of course if your title is a number at present though).

We are aware of this bug and working on it.

I was updating the wiki until Kris and Thomas said they wanted all the bugs listed in one place (this thread). Having the information in two places makes it hard to maintain and hard to keep it up-to-date.

I still feel there needs to be an offical list from Zooomr showing what is broken and what has been fixed.

I was just able to edit the profile of one of my groups. But for another group this remains impossible. After editing the form, the save does not seem to work, & the text remains unaltered when you the page is reloaded.

My Pro4Life status is gone (was there before).

I'm also not able to edit my profile or sets.

Besides these, I'm loving the Mark III

I agree. We could start logging bugs individually in this help group with the prefix "Bug:" in the title. Before logging a new bug though, search for existing mentions with Google.

E.g. use the search term
"exif site:http://beta.zooomr.com/groups/".

Or, for a specific topic:
"exif site:http://beta.zooomr.com/groups/help/discuss/7/"

The problem with this is that there's no way of knowing how up-to-date google's search caches are.

You are correct about google's caches being a problem because they are only giving search results up through page 4 of this thread (currently there are 6 pages). This means the newest posts will not be found.

I am having problems with the favourite page - I have favored at least 10 photos , but when I click on the icon to get to the pages - it says page not found.

I created a SmartSet and found that it did not work, then delete it and create a new one again and again... until I found this thread.

I was going to post another problem here, but all I am reading is people complaining about the number of bugs in Zooomr and the mess that this support thread is in.

I am losing patience with Zooomr, I know that you guys are fixing bugs all the time, but the problem for me is that even after all this time there is a lot of promised functionality that still does not work, and perhaps even more irritating is that good functionality that was previously available in Mark II, now also does not work.

If you provide new features and they are flawed, then fine - fix them up quickly and I'll be happy. BUT, If you take away features I was already using then you are simply pushing me and many others away.

The bottom line is that all of my friends use Flickr, none of them use Zooomr. I chose to miss out on my friends Flickr photo updates because I don't like to follow the masses if there are equal or better independently run alternatives, and I used to believe that Zooomr was exactly that. The reality, however, is that regardless of how good Zooomr COULD and SHOULD be, at the moment Zooomr is a complete mess.

With what remaining hope and support I have for the huge amount of work and passion that has been put in to Zooomr, I'm gonna hang on for a few more weeks... but I'm fading... fast, and I'm increasingly in need of better reasons to stay with you.

I've not found this bug cited anywhere. I tried to upload some photos, using firefox on a linux box. When I click on browse the resulting form have a fixed extensions filter which include *.jpg, *.jpeg, etc. The photos generated by my camera have extension *.JPG; but linux is case sensitive, so I cannot select them! I could change the extensions; indeed it's not a so severe bug, but it's quite annoying.

I don't think they're lost -- just disabled for now. SmartSets should be back soon.

The "ghost" imprint that threads leave when they are posted and then deleted is yucky. It makes the threads hard to read because they stay in the way. As well, when someone posts a picture that is too big and then deletes it to post a smaller size photo in a thread, the "ghost imprint" of the old photo stays in the way and makes the thread scroll over way too much and makes it hard to view the threads. Can you remove the "ghost imprint" from deleted posts please!

I can attest that version 8,0,24,0 also works!

I have version 9,0,28,0 installed. So that is not the issue. :(

I am also using Firefox 2.0.0.4 with WinXP and have the same result of being returned to my photos without the newly uploaded photos there. I found that turning off my software firewall fixes the problem - still no idea why.

as i posted to the bugs wiki (which i really wish people would still use and link to, since it continues to be the best summary of all the bugs), mass uploading has issues. if you upload almost any number of photos more than one (its occured to me with anything for three to fifty), all the photos will say 100% completed, but on returning to the photos page, some will not have shown up. its really annoying, especially since there is still no sets functionality and the easiest way to make something like a set is to up all the photos some sort of order. as it is, its very easy to upload one 'set' and then another, before you realize 'oops looks like photo x from set a is gone. oh aaand photo y.. and z.. screw it, i give up, zooomr aint usable yet'

also, a few times now, ive gotten a flash warning that a script was taking too long. definitely zooomr uploads making this happen. doesnt seem to be directly related to the above problem, though. and if you just allow the script to continue, the upload doesnt crash. still a bug.
