Topic: Uploading Problems

wrote Posted 5 months, 2 weeks ago
I've been trying to upload a set of photos with no luck. I keep getting the Zooomr Intermission screen from time to time. Most of the photos don't upload. I've noticed that a lot of photos that I uploaded this week aren't available. I checked the blog and the Knowledge center, but there is no info.

What's going on?

Well after trying fruitlessly to use the flash uploader multiple times in the last 48 hours (most photos just fail to upload), I've gone back to using jUploadr. It's working well.

How did you get jUploadr to work with Zooomr? I've been trying with no luck, get a 404 trying to authorise jUploadr.

I seem to recall my first time being able to select multiple photos before uploading, but the past couple of times I've tried I've only been able to select one, upload it, select one, upload it, etc. Is this what others see?

Edited to add: Didn't do anything different and now I'm able to select several photos at once. *roll eyes*

Lately I've been able to upload a group of photos from the Zooomr upload area. At one point I couldn't. And I didn't do anything to change it.

I haven't tried JUploadr lately. I never could get it to work.

I'm having the same problem with juploadr that hackel has. Anyone else dealing with this, or overcome it?

I also have problems getting juploadr to work.

I've just uploaded some pictures using the site okay but all the pictures are in the wrong order, which doesn't help.

I was having 404 errors too. Turns out that when you click download it doesn't download the latest version 1.2(because it's in Alpha) but downloads the last full version 1.1.2.

You need to go to the project page http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=127771 and download the latest version.

Alpha version works fine.

Thanks!

Can you pa-lease add a "Remember Me" button to the page code of the m.zooomr.com part of the site? Pretty Please?

In addition, the page code on the mobile site does not react to any hyperlink clicking. I don't have thos problem with any other mobile web site yet. ( I use about a dozen fairly regularly.)

Also, somewhat realted (html code wise), in Mazxthon browsers, the right-side scroll bar sometimes does net render. My work-around to this is generally to just lcik and hold in a white space of a page and then drag down (or back up ) to where I need the cursor to be.

Please consider adding batch photo upload. One at a time is un-professional. But, then again, so is selling my avatar for 5 bucks! No, really, please add batch upload?

Same problem here! Tried the batch upload on Zooomr several times. Only some pictures made it to my photo page. Then again I tried the one-at-a-time strategy (non flash) like Palmer did. That worked well. But that's no fun when you want to upload a lot of photos...

PictureSync works (still) well (http://picturesync.net/) — actually a hint by Thomas Hawk.
