Has anyone gotten it to work? I use Firefox and Windows XP.

Yep. But that was before June 2007 (MkII of Zooomr). It's promised to come back with Zooomr 2008.

Is there an ETA for that?

Right now I'm at the crossroads between Flickr and Zooomr.

Points for Zooomr...no file limits.
Points for Flickr...easy batch uploading.

If I could batch upload with Zooomr, it would be a done deal.

Zooomr Mark IV (2008 Release) is pending and I hope will address the jUploadr issue as well as bug fixes and new features.

I would suggest hanging around another 30 to 60 days and see what happens.

Just a reminder. You may know it already.
Current zooomr's uploader can batch upload.
Select multiple files in the folder with CTRL or SHFIT-key, though some frustration there when photos are spreading between several folders.

Zooomr's uploader can batch upload *ONLY* if you have Flash installed/enabled, and Javascript support.

Yanz, I didn't know that! Thanks so much!! Uploading as we speak...a test run.

jUploaded was meant to work for markIII but they never got around to it but hopefully it will work in markIV.

I am having issues with the bulk uploader. anyone else having issues.

Yes, I've had problems with bulk uploader every time I used it. I'm using Firefox on XP SP2 with Flash & java support installed, still had problems.

It is hit or miss whether all of your photos will end up loaded or not. I stopped using it and have not uploaded anything to Zooomr since last October. I truly hope jUploader will work again with Mk4. I also hope that Kris releases an SDK so that developers can write apps that talk to Zooomr. I would really love to see an uploader module for Lightroom.

@Jeff Henderson I'm 99% sure there will be API support for this based on some screenshots Kris has posted recently of Z2k8. Since Flickr has open sourced version 3 of their Uploadr I'm sure someone will port that to Zooomr as well since the Zooomr API is supposed to be 100% compatible with Flickr's

That is good to hear. I sincerely hope that the Mk4 release is much better than the Mk3 was as far as promised features and buggieness. I've got my fingers crossed....

dbcohen - as I said before, there was meant to be API support for mark III.

I'm having the same problem too. The message says, "Problem communicating with Zooomr: Got bad HTTP response (status code 404)." Any idea on how to fix this?

I also tried a couple of times and always got a 404

I figured it out. You need to use jUploadr version 1.2aplha1. I am able to authorize it with Zooomr. Here's the link to version 1.2alpha1: http://urltea.com/2u7a.

For the sake of clarification (from the perspective of another developer): It's not so much that jUploadr hasn't "gotten around to it" or has been procrastinating in any way- It's that for the duration of Mark III, nobody has been able to get an API key from zooomr, due to space issues on their servers. Just like the jUploadr dev, I've been pinging Kris regularly for updates on when I can get a key for Migratr. From what I understand, moving the business to Japan has given Zooomr what it really needed- enough breathing room to expand.

jUploadr's API key is live so upload away

Quick tutorial:
0. First of all, you need to install Java:
http://www.java.com/en/
1. Download jUploadr alpha:
http://dfn.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/juploadr/jUploadr-1.2alpha1-win32_x86.zip (Windows version)
2. Unzip it (on Windows XP just double-click the zip file and copy everything inside, e.g. to My Documents directory)
3. Run jUploadr.exe
4. Choose Edit -> Account -> New account on Zooomr (or something similar, I have Polish version and somehow I can't change language to English)
5. jUploadr asks for authorization, click on Authorize...
6. Page will open in your web browser, saying "jUploadr wants to link to your Zooomr Account.", click on ALLOW ACCESS
7. You should see a page saying "You have successfully authorized the application jUploadr."
8. Return to jUploadr and click End authorization process
9. Now you should be able to upload photos from jUploadr

Thanks so much Siriwan! I uninstalled both Java and jUploader and reinstalled again. Took me quite sometime, but it worked finally! After the whole afternoon figuring this out, it's finally working!
