I'd love that too but I guess they're working on it so we'll have to support them in any way we can til it's up and running.

Looking forward to it. It will make make zooomr lots more versatile. I think it is the most important thing.

Yeah I've been waiting for that too, it sure helps to find photos of a certain theme, and the best of those especially.

Picture pools are important and planned. Kristopher is working as hard as he can to continue to improve the site every day. In the meantime as an admittedly interior option, feel free to cut and past html from photos into threads like this:

Your Love Baby

if we are going to be a community, we need a better way to see the overall view. the discover pages are too much. too many. overwhelming. and often good photos don't show up well in that format.

I want pools, or groups, so I can click on them and see all the photos in that area without being asked to join.

and can you reverse the order? latest photos first so I don't have to scroll down to see the last post? with everything, photos and comments.

if we feel we belong, then we hang in for all the other problems.

just saying it as I see it. and I like this place.

When can we upload pictures with jUploadr?

You'll be able to use jUploadr as soon as Kristopher enables the API. Unfortunately, he hasn't spoken a word about that for well over two months.

okay, I like zoomr, I want it to work. but frankly, the kinds of changes being made do not address the constant concerns voiced. it has now been months. do you guys need more help? who is telling you what is a priority, because hey, we here down in the trenches have been saying the same things over and over again and instead we get things we never asked for. you guys are smart. listen to your people.

photo pools and an open API are both important. They are both on the development to do list. They will get done. Kristopher is just one guy. SmartSets and Recent Activity were ahead of the API and photo pools, and both of those have been done and released in the past few months. Kristopher is just one guy. Bear with him.

As a current user of Flickr and Zooomr I too am looking forward to the implemetation of pools in Zooomr. Photo pools are the main "watering hols" at Flickr and strongly aid its sense of community. Once pools arrive in Zooomr I will move here permanently.
