Sorry for the long period of silence. It's been tough not talking to all of you like I had been before. Let's open things back up!

Yey! I'm glad things are going well in Japan. I hope Zooomr mobile is a success, even though the rest of us can't use it, as it can only be a good thing for the future of the site :)

Thanks guys! We're hoping to expand into other regions, but because Mobile is new to us, we want to see how things work in Japan.

We're committed to both Web and Mobile alike! :)

What kind of mobile platform is zooomr working on? Some years ago I was a member of a Sun team to set up iMode in Germany. But iMode never had been a success outside Japan.

Quick q: where exactly is the documentation? I joined the Google Group but I didn't spot it anywhere...

anlan, We support xHTML-MP and DoCoMo iMode -- Easy to cover others, perhaps.

razvanm, Documentation will be up shortly -- working on a million things right now. Sorry.

Keep up the good work Kris--glad things are moving along very nicely in Japan, and glad to see more members on the Z-Team! I can't wait to see more--the API will probably spawn some amazing apps once it's out. I may even switch back to Firefox from Safari for a bit so I can start using ZipFox. Congrats again, man! Big Smile

Fantastic news! I'm stoked to hear you've really got a leg up in Japan. Looks like all that hard work has payed off.

Looking forward to playing with that API

Kristopher: and those supporting him. Thanks.

It sounds like things are looking really great for Zooomr again. Hopefully with a bigger team you continue to make the great improvements and still fit some sleep in! Now with the API we can expect all sorts of interesting things from fellow supporters as well.

Thanks again.

Releasing the API will bring jUploadr back, isn't it?

Thanks for the info, obviously many Zooomerians (including me, btw. is there a term like that?) thought things here have come to a sudden halt during the last weeks. Great you're proving the opposite now. Keep it up!

Congrats. And when are we ( rest of the world) going to get mobile upload feature?

Things are going quite strong -- I've just had to remain silent due to certain forces inside of Japan -- we're all cool now. :)

Thanks again for your support!

Thejesh GN, at the moment, we're still pretty excited about Mobile in Japan. Please stay tuned for more updates on mobile.

Hey Kris!
I couldn't believe my eyes when I say that long blog post this morning! =D I'm really happy you could break the silence and hope you can keep it up like this! It was this personal touch you gave zooomr (and the insight you gave us into development), that I liked so much when I joined! :)
I'm thrilled about your 10man staff! I'm sure this will speed up things here! :)
Thanks again for this great update! :-)

you're welcome :-)
As beeing a bit a computer freak and passionate in programming, I love to be able to see into the development of such a cool project and beeing somehow so "close in touch" with the developer! ;-) :-)
It was this lack of communication (that was so great before) and not the bugs that disappointed me a bit in the last weeks. So if you (and Thomas) can keep this level of communication as you do now, I think we all can live with the bugs (at least I can =D)
so, keep the good work up! I'm already curious to see what is comming next! :-)

PS: could you give a little more info about your staff? e.g. who is doing what :)
