In my book, if Kristopher does it I wouldn't worry too much about following suit. I personally don't like non-photographic images in my photostream so I use other services like bayimg or photobucket for those.
The only reason I'm still using Flickr is because Zooomr's policy forbids you to upload screenshots there.
Hm, that's strange. I left Flickr for Zooomr over a year ago because those in charge of Flickr decided to remove my paid Pro account from all public searches and tag listings because I uploaded "non-photographic material".
