One of my daughters is moving to the area and has a few days of 'vacation time' as a result. With the Artlumiere on its final week in Pittsburgh I thought she and I would go downtown with our cameras.
Unfortunately, this is last minute plans so this may be hard to arrange meeting up with others to walk around as a group then grabbing a late evening cup of coffee downtown. Second is that the weather forecast, for this week, shares potential for rain most of the week. So ... if it rains Tuesday, the next possible clear, lower chance of rain, day is supposedly Thursday and Friday.
Would anyone want to try to meet up on Friday evening? to do a late evening photo walk of the Artlumiere sites and whatever else catches the eye?

As a bit of a FYI, for anyone interested, we noticed a sign downtown saying the ArtLumiere (aka Festival of Lights) gained an additional week due to the number of folks still going to look at it. So it will end July 8th instead of tomorrow. While we were downtown - heard that one or two building's light displays "change", not as in rotating image (e.g. the lightbulb one or the colored squares) but as in totally different image ... but no one seems to know what the schedule is for the different displays.
As they would say, on Zooomr and other non-e places, bummr.
With the Fourth of July fireworks/Pirates game and the Regatta - may not be a bad idea to go for another week.
