Let me lay it out for you, that's not a pita, it's naan. Garlic naan to be precise. I toasted it in the oven and dipped it in roasted red pepper hummus, this combination is illegal in the lower 48.
The little bowl of green stuff? That's kaisou salad, combining wakame seaweed, sesame seeds, red wine vinegar, and bits of red bell pepper.
The big bowl holds my soy sauce and wasabi. I know it's huge, but it's all I've got on hand. in the background you can see my two platters of sashimi: super white tuna from Chile and American maguro tuna.
Let me tell you, this dinner was something I really needed. It definitely eased the transition into the new home. Until next time, ciao.
