Glasgow University in snow

The other night whilst walking back from dinner, I decided to take a bit of a detour in search of photo opportunities in what was a snowy Glasgow. A pretty rare thing to see Glasgow this wintery, so suffice to say I was out for a long time getting cold, and covered in snow whilst taking photos. Good fun of course! This shot is looking up the River Kelvin towards the University of Glasgow's Gilbert Scott Building.

It's a hybrid bike, the Scott Sportster P3 (2008 model), and this is a closeup of the gears, which I found semi-interesting! MIT's Stata Center certainly stood out amongst all the other buildings, it's quirky, in all its various strange shapes and sizes. It did however remind me an awful lot of our very own Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh. However Frank Gehry, who was the architect behind the Stata Center, had nothing to do with the Scottish Parliament as far as I know!
